The 12th Vienna Conference on Instrumentation (VCI2010) will be held in Vienna from 15th - 20th February, 2010. An associated Industrial Exhibition will be organized for the first three days of the conference (15th - 18th February. 2010), to which we would like to invite your company to participate.
Vienna Conference on Instrumentation is since 2001 the new name of the series of former Vienna Wire Chamber Conferences founded by the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The first Vienna Conference took place in 1978. The present Conference will be the 12th Conference of this series.

The Conference will take place in the new building of the University of Technology, 1040 Vienna, Wiedner Hauptstrasse 8-10. This place is near the Vienna Opera, right in the centre of the city. Approximately 300 participants from around 27 countries usually attend the Conference. Several participants are decision-making members of large research centres in the field of nuclear and particle physics or other disciplines mentioned above. Many young researchers will be encouraged and supported to attend the Conference. Traditionally the Conference organisers make a special effort to support scientists from Middle and Eastern European countries and countries of the new independent states of the former Soviet Union.

The exhibition time is the first three days of the Conference February 15th - 18th, 2010. The location of the exhibition is close to the exits of the Conference Hall. During coffee breaks the coffee will be served in this area. Sufficient time for visiting the exhibition without talks is foreseen.
Fee for an exhibition area of 2 x 3 m2: FREE
We only request exhibitors to register 2 persons at the Conference: the Conference Fee is Euro 400.- (early registration, until Nov. 22, 2009), Euro 460,- (after Nov. 22, 2009) per person and includes participation at all Conference sessions and social events (Welcome Reception, Concert, and Dinner in the Vienna City).
These include the possibility of placing flyers (or other promotional items, such as pens) in delegates' bags, as well as generally sponsoring the Conference; sponsors will be listed in the Conference Program.
Fee for a flyer in delegates' bag: Euro 800.-
We are inviting you to be sponsor of one of the high quality social events: The Welcome Cocktail Party with music on Monday or the Soirée musicale in the Great Hall of the Austrian Academy of Sciences on Tuesday. Sponsoring companies are named the exclusive official sponsor of this event and are included in the Conference Program (one page will be devoted to each event). For booking an exhibition area, please complete the booking form and return it by fax or mail to the organisers. Upon receipt of your definite order the Conference Office will send an invoice to your address. Full advance payment is required.
Any changes and cancellations must be communicated in writing to the chairman of the organising committee M. Krammer. Upon receipt of a written cancellation notice before January 12nd 2010, 80% of the total fee will be refunded. No refund can be made for cancellation after this date. Any refunds will be made after the Conference.
